This was my first southern Tennessee wedding I got to be a part of and boy did it not disappoint ! Just 45 minutes from Nashville, this wedding venue captured rustic charm effortlessly. Originally calling for rain, Ashton and Gregory’s wedding day at Firefly Lane Dickson TN consisted of clear skies and sing alongs to Newsies.
Everyone loves Nashville, but sometimes it’s nice to drive out into the quiet countryside. Firefly Lane is a year round wedding venue with over 70 acres of land. Ashton and Gregory chose to celebrate their wedding in the barn, which holds max 250 guests (170 indoors with additional seating on their patio), and is 100% climate controlled. This allows you to cool off in the Tennessee heat and stay nice and cozy on a winter evening.

While Gregory and his groomsmen got ready in the “Man Cave” , Ashton and her girls got ready in the bridal suite just across the Main Hall of Firefly Lane Dickson TN.

As a former Vermont resident, I was loving the bridesmaid’s flannel tops.

Ashton and Gregory opted not to see each other before walking down the aisle so they shared this tender moment holding hands instead.

Gregory’s reaction was super sweet as Ashton made her way down the aisle!

You gotta love those big smiles after you’ve kissed for the first time as husband and wife. While the rest of the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, we drove off on a golf cart to head to the more rustic areas of the property for some formal pictures.

Megalicious Cakes did a lovely job on both the wedding cake and cupcakes.

Look who caught the garter!
