WHAT EXACTLY IS AN ADVENTURE ELOPEMENT?
Drumroll please! An adventure elopement can be WHATEVER YOU IMAGINE IT TO BE! Seriously they are that cool. If you've got a location already in mind- that's great! If you come to me and all you know is that you want to elope but literally nothing else- I'm here to help!
If you realized that a fancy ballroom isn't your jam, but the world's most beautiful landscapes are- you are in good company! You are 100% not alone in your decision. Some couples choose to elope because they hate the idea of being the center of attention. Others may choose to have an intimate wedding because they wanted to have a sustainable celebration. Whatever your reasoning, I'll be your cheerleader!
I specialize in elopements of 20 guests max to really put the emphasis back on you marrying your best friend surrounded by a select VIP group of people (if you want to have guests). Most times I'm capturing getting ready in the morning, your first look, vow exchange + ceremony, and any activities or exploration you want to incorporate in your day.

We have to admit that we really were neither prepared nor researched enough about the process of elopement. Thanks to our amazing photographer, Meghan, not only we were able to elope in the city hall effortlessly, but also capture the beautiful foliage in NH along with the unforgettable adventure to hike up the mountains for the photoshoot.
She always got back to us timely, and had all the answers - plus helpful suggestions and recommendations, to our questions. She was organized and prepared for things that we did not even think of, for instance, that pop-up tent! We have never done a professional photoshoot before, but after seeing Meghan’s stunning photos, we wish we could bring her everywhere we go to seize the memory.
If you are looking for a professional photographer who is talented, kind, fun and prepared, she is the one. We believe she gets booked out pretty quickly, so our only advice is to reach out to her as soon as possible to secure your date!

my SHOOTING STYLE
My shooting style is a mix of natural posing, photojournalistic candids, and detail shots in an editorial flare.
For example, if a VIP family member or friend will be assisting you with the last touches of your wedding attire and you were about to do it in the center of the getting ready space (with people in the background, trash, water bottles, food trays, etc.) before that special moment begins I'd move you into a clear space within minimal distractions and the best light by a window.
I use natural posing and prompts during portraits of you and your sweetheart to get those classic images and fun candids where your genuine personalities really shine through.
While I'm capturing all the big hugs and happy tears, I also take time to showcase all the detail elements that you've taken the time to select to bring your vision to life.

VIBRANT & TRUE TO LIFE EDITING
To give your images that timeless look, my editing style is vibrant & true to color. By not following a trend, your images will have that classic look with a mix of some black & white photos in your gallery.

what is an all day elopement?
I'm glad you asked! Traditional weddings by default always get full day coverage and an elopement should be no different- it's your wedding day after all! With elopements you aren't bound to a venue's strict timeline so when I say the world is your oyster, I truly mean it.
I tell my couples to dream up their most perfect day from the second they wake up to the moment they lay their heads on the pillow at night. What types of scenes are you seeing? What are you drinking and eating? What are your favorite activities to do? With all day elopements I'll capture your sweet getting ready moments, your first look, ceremony, and all the activities & exploration we can pack in.
I promise this is not an all day photoshoot whatsoever. Your wedding day will be intentionally crafted to incorporate your favorite landscapes and passions- plus we'll be taking advantage of the most gorgeous light at sunrise or sunset!

INQUIRY & CONSULT CALL
I learn about you two as a couple and walk you through what it’s like working with me. I love these “getting to know you” chats and learning what you have envisioned for your wedding day.

booking
I’ll email you both a proposal (digital contract and invoice). All I need to know is your wedding date and general location you are looking to elope. Once you both sign and pay the 50% retainer fee from the collection of your choosing, you are officially locked in for your date and will be immediately sent my recommended vendor sheet for your location. Payment plans are available upon request.

welcome guide & location questionnaire
Now that you're booked the fun begins! I'll send you my 101 page paperback "How To Elope" guidebook and your location planning questionnaire. This gives me more info on the two of you to create a custom experience and your personal preferences: (lighthouses, towering dunes, potential to see seals, etc.)

finalize ceremony location
We pick the ceremony spot (plus a few backup locations) and I take care of the special use permit (if applicable) so your wedding can legally take place in the national seashore, DCR, etc. and I'm allowed to photograph it.

You have the absolute best day rain or shine. I photograph you in the most gorgeous light at sunrise or sunset capturing your complete wedding day story from start to finish. Then you'll get 3-5 sneak peek photos within 48 hours!

"How to have a leave no trace wedding" guide book & activities questionnaire
I'll digitally send you a 25 page guidebook on "How to have a Leave No Trace Wedding" that you can pass along to your guests too! You'll also get your second questionnaire to go over any activities your passionate about that you want to incorporate into your day. Kayaking, wine tasting, taking a helicopter ride- the sky's the limit!
Eight to ten weeks from your elopement you'll receive the link to your full wedding gallery. From here you can download the digital files or you have the option to order print products through me (highly recommend!) so you can marvel at your beautiful souls on the walls of your home.

I'm a super bubbly inclusive Massachusetts based wedding & engagement photographer with 9 years of experience serving couples all over New England who love true to color & vibrant editing.
I want you to have the most incredible experience and photos that tell the true love story of your day that you can cherish in years to come. I want you to feel safe & comfortable in your own skin with a wedding day that is uniquely you. A celebration with just the two of you exchanging vows in a breathtaking spot or surrounded by your family- whether that’s biological, chosen family of friends, or beloved pets.
I’ve photographed 100+ weddings (big & small) in the USA & Europe so I’m an expert in posing, lighting (both natural light and flash for indoor spaces), and there is no scenario I haven’t been in. I am able to give couples peace of mind that no matter how the day unfolds, locations, the weather, etc. they are going to get gorgeous images. I'm a Wilderness First Responder, Leave No Trace Certified Photographer, and graduate of Maddie Mae of Adventure Instead's Adventure Elopement Academy (so I've learned from the best).
how do we book you?
If you'd like to book me, I'll just need a signed contract and a 50% retainer fee. The final 50% payment is due 2 weeks before you wedding day. Payment plans also available! Once that's complete, you are officially a couple of Meghan Lynch Photography.
what is your PHOTO & editing style?
I gravitate towards natural posing & prompts with a photojournalistic & editorial flare to capture all the emotional moments and tiny details. Vibrant true to life editing for those timeless images.
can we extend coverage?
At any point in the process (even on wedding day) you can add more coverage time to your collection at $375 per half hour.
WHAT IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER ON OUR ELOPEMENT DAY?
I don't believe in bad weather only bad gear! Growing up in New England I have photographed in all weather conditions from snowy days in Vermont to rainy days. In my opinion rainy days can create some of the most romantic photos (I also bring along clear umbrellas for you too!). The couples I love working with are ready to have a dance party in the rain and embrace the weather no matter what!
can we invite friends & family?
Of course! You are more than welcome to have a celebration with just the two of you or you can absolutely bring your VIP family and friends along. My intimate weddings and elopements are capped at 20 people.
What is the turnaround time on our photos?
Your images will be ready in an online gallery within 8-10 weeks of your wedding, but I'll be sending you a couple sneak peek photos within 2 days of your celebration.
How many images do you deliver?
Since every wedding is unique and lots of factors come into play I typically deliver roughly 50 images per hour at minimum. I'm a huge believer in quality over quantity, so trust me when I say you are getting the best of the best!
DO YOU EVER DELIVER RAW IMAGES?
Nope! I don't deliver the unedited original RAW files to clients because they aren't representing a final product. You'll be getting the high resolution edited jpeg files.
Do you photograph LGBTQIA+ couples?
You bet! Love is love :) I am an inclusive wedding vendor.
Are you insured?
Yes! If your venue needs me to send over a copy you are all set.
Back-up gear?
Always! I carry an extra professional camera on me just to be safe.
WILL MY IMAGES HAVE A WATERMARK ON THEM ?

are you an elopement planner?
I'm not an elopement planner but I can definitely recommend amazing wedding planners who specifically specialize in small intimate weddings to help you with the planning side of things. .
For my job as your elopement photographer I'll be responsible for taking your pictures, and creating your intimate wedding timeline (aka a schedule based on your package so can hit all your desired spots and know when the best light is). I definitely give you lots of tips additional tips on eloping in my guidebook! You're still responsible for researching and booking your accommodations, choosing your ceremony spot from my location booklet, booking restaurants, filling out your marriage forms, etc.
