WHEN Do YOU PHOTOGRAPH SURPRISE PROPOSALS?
During my wedding busy season (May-October), you can book an outdoor surprise proposal session Monday-Thursday at sunrise or sunset. In my off season, Friday-Sunday sessions may be available.
Meghan was an absolute JOY and I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anybody in need of a photographer. Don’t waste your time with looking at any other photographers- just book Meghan; she’s simply the best!

I photograph outdoor proposals at sunrise or sunset on weekdays Monday-Thursday to avoid crowds.

LOCATION RECOMMENDATIONS
I’ll give you recommendations of the best of the best proposal locations in Boston or the Cape.

VENDOR RECOMMENDATIONS
If you want to hire a proposal planner or a floral setup I’ll connect with vendors and send you names of those 100% available for your date so you don’t have to.

TRAVELING FROM OUT OF TOWN?
Most of the time I send my proposers videos or maps with a marked "X" so they know their exact walking route to the proposal spot.

COORDINATION WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS
If you are having family or friends hide out- I’ll coordinate everything with them as well!

WHAT TIME DO SURPRISE PROPOSAL SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
I always photograph sessions during golden hour. The light is prettiest 90 minutes before sunset and after sunrise.
CAN I BOOK OUR PROPOSAL SESSION DURING THE WEEKEND?
Proposal sessions are booked Monday-Thursday at sunrise or sunset. During busy wedding season, I don't book proposal sessions Friday, Saturday, or Sunday since they are reserved for my traditional weddings!

Fill out my inquiry form to see if I'm available your date. We will finalize your date, time, and location. After that I'll send over the proposal and once the contract is signed & 50% of the collection is paid you are officially booked and on my calendar.
New England weather always changes so I start paying attention to the forecast 48 hours before a session. If it's showing rain we have a couple options!
1. If it was showing a total washout and you could be flexible with your date we could change the date- no rescheduling fee!
2. If it was showing some rain scheduled during our set proposal time we could move it earlier or later in the day to catch a window where it wasn't raining.
3. Lastly if you still wanted that exact date and time we would just embrace the rain. Rainy sessions can be super fun & romantic- I bring along my cute clear umbrellas for you to stay dry!
I BOOKED YOU BUT, WHAT IF THE FORECAST IS FOR RAIN ON MY PROPOSAL DAY?
WHAT IS YOUR COMPLIMENTARY PHOTOSHOP RETOUCHING?
I'm a big believer in capturing real moments and promoting natural beauty so I don't ever do any photoshopping of body alterations such as changing hair color, changing shape of nose/eyes/body to be bigger or smaller. If there is a certain cosmetic edit you want done it can be outsourced for an additional fee.
That being said I do photoshop out distractions to give you beautiful magazine worthy images! This includes removing trash cans, unwanted photo bombers, taming flyaway hairs, swapping heads & eyes (for those who blink a lot), fixing tan lines from watches, removing blemishes, and making rings sparkle.
