There are so many amazing Cape Cod engagement photographers out there, but I’d love to be the one to capture your love story. This blog post highlights Pat & Jordan’s sunrise session on Nauset Light Beach in Eastham, MA. I was so thrilled they didn’t mind the early start time in order to get the dreamy backlit glow of the sun rising over the ocean. The colors we had for this Cape Cod engagement session definitely did not disappoint!
ABOUT THE COUPLE:
Pat proposed to Jordan on Nauset Light Beach so it was only fitting to do their engagement session there before they celebrate their June 2025 wedding back in Richmond Virginia.
These two met through mutual friends before the summer of their sophomore year at Virginia Tech and had their first date years ago watching the eclipse (seriously most unique first date ever). After our session they were off to grab breakfast at their favorite spot Hole In One Bakery and enjoy a beach day in Chatham!
Their engagement ring is from Sachs Jewelers and they enjoyed a post session coffee at Hole In One.

Couple sessions take place outdoors within 90 minutes after sunrise and within 90 minutes before sunset to capture you both in the most flattering golden light.
WHAT ARE THE BEST LOCATIONS ON THE CAPE FOR AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
Many Cape Cod engagement photographers would definitely have Nauset Light Beach high on their list for the large beach, tall dunes, and lighthouse that provide gorgeous backdrops. Here are some of my other favorite locations for Cape Cod engagement locations.
HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU DELIVER FOR A COUPLES SESSION?
I believe in quality over quantity so you can expect on average a minimum of 50 images per hour.
WHEN & HOW WILL I GET MY IMAGES BACK?
You’ll receive some sneak peeks within 48 hours of your engagement session and then your full gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks max. Your images are beautifully displayed on an online gallery where you can easily download the images (or order prints & wall art if you’d like). I take time editing each individual photo with my vibrant/true to life editing style. I also include complimentary photoshop retouching of your images for magazine worthy photos! This includes things such as removing zits, flyaway hairs, apple watch tan lines, trash, and photobombers in the background of your photos.
