ABOUT THE ENGAGED COUPLE FEATURED: KATHRYN & GEORGE
KATHRYN’S SIDE: we met on hinge! We only talked on hinge for a short period of time until we met in person. We went on a date to this place called Salt, and I was so excited to try the restaurant because I had heard great things about it from friends (so him offering to go was already a plus in my books). I was so nervous to meet George but his smile was infectious and I melted almost immediately. We talked for 3+ hours that night, I had never felt more comfortable on a first date in my life.
GEORGE’S SIDE- Kathryn and I met on hinge and after a few days of fun and great conversation, I wanted to ask her on a date to a place called Salt. My first impression of Kathryn was how comfortable I felt from the start. The 3-4 hours we were there I could tell how similar we were, not just hobbies but how we were raised. I felt so connected to her. We joke about this now, but I kept asking her if she wanted to order food, not just drinks. Kathryn kept saying “no I’m fine” but I was secretly starving. We actually did order 2 apps, but I think I had one bite of a meatball and so did she. So besides leaving a little hungry, I couldn’t have asked for a better first date.
Can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year at the Omni Parker House in Boston.
