Boston Public Garden engagement photos are always a popular choice when selecting a location in the city. The Boston Public Garden features incredible backdrops like the Pedestrian Bridge, the pond, swan boats, floral blooms when in season (tulips, cherry blossoms, magnolia trees), and fountains. To avoid crowds and have a more private experience, I love photographing at the Boston Public Gardens at sunrise.

ABOUT THE ENGAGED COUPLE FEATURED: MEG & DAVID
From Meg’s perspective: David and I first met in Summer of 2018, for a few days down at Disney World, a conference PwC sends all their interns after accepting their full time offers. Out of hundreds of interns from across the country, David and I were in the same eight person group for the entirety of the three days. We always sat together on the bus, talked about our lives, college experiences, and goals. We followed each other on social media, but didn’t keep in touch.
In January 2022, a familiar face joined my client engagement team at work. We played it cool for a couple of weeks, neither wanting to be the one to say we remembered each other in fear of the other person having no recollection, but eventually we broke the ice. We were two of the few people back in the office after the work from home era, so we bonded quickly, talking about our likes and dislikes, finding everything under the sun that we had in common, and shared funny dating fails that we had been experiencing in our own lives at the time.
One day he asked me to get drinks after work. I spent the whole afternoon trying to determine if it was a causal “coworkers grabbing a quick drink after work”, or if our flirty banter the last few weeks could be leading to something more. We grabbed a “quick” drink at the Broadway and ended up staying until close. We had so much fun just talking about the most trivial things. One week later, we had our first kiss after an intramural league soccer game happy hour, and we have been inseparable ever since.
You’ll most likely find these two in Boston enjoying a meal at Beacon Hill’s 1928 restaurant or spending summer days on Cape Cod swimming at Surf Drive Beach and finishing the day with ice-cream from Somerset. So excited to photograph their wedding at The Dennis Inn on Cape Cod!
