ABOUT THE WEDDING COUPLE
Amanda & Dion: These two met on a United plane from Houston to Boston back in 2018. They had both switched out seats to be in the same row, and just happened to be seated next to one another. They both noticed each other, but didn’t interact very much at the beginning of their flight since Amanda was working on her laptop.
She accidentally spilled her water everywhere and this is when Dion kindly offered to help with napkins. They ended up talking with each other the rest of the flight home and at the end of their flight Dion asked for her number. Amanda said “yes” and they had their first date the following week.

Hi I’m Meghan Lynch! I’m a super bubbly New York & New England wedding & engagement photographer serving couples all over New England. I specialize in couple’s photography: surprise proposals, engagements, elopements, weddings, and maternity sessions.
Most of the time I’m photographing waterfront, tented, and estate wedding celebrations! My editing style is vibrant & true to color to give you those classic and timeless images. I do natural posing, photojournalistic candids, and have an editorial flare for your detail shots.I’m a LGBTQA+ friendly wedding vendor.
I’ve photographed 100+ weddings in the USA & Europe so I’m an expert in posing, lighting (both natural light and flash for indoor spaces), and there is no scenario I haven’t been in. I am able to give couples peace of mind that no matter how the day unfolds, locations, the weather, etc. they are going to get gorgeous images. I would love to hear more about your Institute of Contemporary Art Wedding!
THE FAST FACTS OF WORKING WITH ME
- 10+ years as a wedding photographer (work is published in a variety of magazines). You can read all the raving reviews on google! My main speciality is waterfront, tented, and estate wedding vendors.
- I am an LGBTQ+ friendly wedding vendor and will always champion my couples.
- Editing style: Vibrant/ True to life. Years down the line I want you to remember your wedding day as it was when you look at your photos rather than a trend. Photographers tend to fall into 3 editing styles (dark & moody, vibrant/true to color, and light & airy)
- Photography style: Classic & timeless imagery- natural posing, candids, and an editorial flare when capturing your details. I’ll give you prompts to have your natural personalities come out and make you feel super comfortable in front of the camera. You’ll never wonder what to do with your hands- I’ve got you covered with all the posing guidance.
- MLP Wedding Guide Book for all the engagement session & wedding top tips!
- I’ll send an engagement session and wedding questionnaire so we get all your key shots
- I only take a select 10-15 weddings a year and never shoot back to back so my couples always get me at my absolute best
- Local vendor recommendations and happy to reach out in vendor groups if you are having trouble tracking someone down
- Complimentary retouching of distractions (I don’t do body modifications): exit signs, trash cans, people in the background of a photo, zits, sunburns/apple watch tans. I want the focus to be on YOU
- I work with a second photographer who also has their own wedding photography business so it’s like having 2 first shooters
- Rainy day? I’ll bring my clear umbrellas for you
