There are a few factors to take into consideration when deciding the length of your personal brand photography session. To book with me, you’ll decide on your branding session date, location, and collection. Below you’ll find out which personal brand photography session length works best with the goals you have in mind.

STUDIO SESSIONS: TAKE PLACE AT STUDIO A LA CARTE

30 Minute Branding Session

With the 30 minute branding session you can choose to have updated lifestyle headshots done outdoors or at Studio A La Carte

This collection is best for those looking for a quick headshot refresh, repeat clients, or those that aren’t doing a whole website or business rebrand.

Due to time, 1 outfit is best for a 30 minute session.

Since this is the shortest session I offer, this collection gives you less images than the others.

2 Hour Branding Session

With the 2 hour branding session, you are getting more “scenes” to showcase. This typically includes lifestyle headshots, a workspace area, couch or living room setup, and detail shots.

With the extra time, you are allowed to utilize up to 4 outfits if you’d like.

These sessions can be outside or at Studio A La Carte.

You’ll receive more photos with a variety of backdrops and outfits.

4 Hour Branding Session

With a 4 hour branding session, these are great for multiple locations (whether its a mix of studio time + outdoors like Studio A La Carte + Central Park) or multiple locations we are traveling to. These branding sessions typically include lifestyle headshots, a workspace area, couch or living room setup, and detail shots plus additional lifestyle elements that are important to your personal brand.

Some examples of locations to consider for showing your brand: These visual cues add a personal touch and also attract people who may go to some of your favorite spots

  • Your favorite coffee shop
  • Your favorite place to grab drinks
  • Where you go to walk or exercise
  • Where you shop
  • Favorite bookstore

Half day sessions relieve any stress that you won’t have enough time to get all the shots you envision.

If it makes sense within your personal brand and business, the 4 hour sessions are also great if you want to incorporate a pet or family member.

Additional Branding Photoshoot Tips

If you choose an outdoor session, we will want to photograph during the golden hour windows of sunrise or sunset to get the most flattering light. If you opt for a sunrise shoot then you’ll avoid the crowds that popular locations bring later in the day.

Want professional hair & makeup done before your session? Set aside 2-2 1/2 hours for glam + travel to our meeting spot for the start of your session.
